It Is So Close Now ...

My first personal blog in a couple of days. I guess I have to accept that there is more to life than baseball? / Please don't miss the 3 posted articles on Gary Carter - the Ballplayer, the Man ...

It is so close now! Pitchers & catchers are arriving, w/ the rest of the ballplayers soon to follow. The smell of the grass, the crack of the bat, the excitement of the 2012 baseball season soon to arrive ...

Will there be an extra wild card for each league this year?

Who will win their respective division's & the wild card position's?

Who will be the best and most exciting ballplayers this year?

Which of the young guns will continue to improve & excite?  Stanton? Hosmer? J. Weeks? Ackley? Lowrie? Trumbo? Trout? Freese? Strasburg? Kimbrel? Kershaw? Gallardo?  G. Gonzalez?

Do you have your Fantasy Draft magazines yet? How do you feel about your chances in your respective Fantasy leagues? Have you outlined your draft strategies?

Draft according to: Best available player? According to position? According to players that surround a given player on his team? Heavy on pitchers? Hitters? Closers? Power? Speed? K's? ERA? Sleeper picks? What about the young guns?

Some prediction's: Kershaw will be a pitching stalwart once again. Albert Pujols' season will surpass that of Prince Fielders'. Rangers & Angels will both make the playoffs. Cardinals will win their division. Mike Stanton will hit 45 HR's. Yu Darvish & Stephen Strasburg will win 17 games. Cargo will make a run at MVP - So will Pujols. Buckys Colorado Connection will push into the money this year, just having missed in its inaugural season. In a hard fought battle, the Colorado Cards will ...

What are your thoughts? Your predictions?

Baseball Season is once again here. Don't let it pass you by ...

Until next time, so long everybody ...

Have a Fantastic Weekend!!!

Just started my FBL research. Building a dartboard is hard work for those of us tools-challenged, y'know?

Since I'm drafting 10th in WiFFL mixed, I'll have to figure out some devious strategy to beat you this year. I really hate that draft slot.

Now in WiFFL's auction league...that'll be interesting. I took a look at y'all's team and you have some verrrrry interesting choices - anywhere from coming in with a huge pile of cash to keeping some big studs and a smaller pile of cash. Mine's a whole lot more straightforward. I think you already know who I'm keeping at 1B. :)
