With the White Sox trailing the A's 2-1, Paul Konerko led off the ninth inning against Grant Balfour, who threw a 92-mile-an-hour fastball somewhere close to the middle. Which led to this:

Hawk Harrelson: That ball hit deep, way back ... He goes up, looks ... You can put it on the boaaarrd, yes! HELL YES. Number 400 for Konerko and this game is tied at two! Mercy!
